Services
One of
Purbeck Housing Trust's key objectives is to build sustainable high
quality homes. Purbeck Housing Trust has an ambitious
development strategy that aims to maximise opportunities to provide
quality, affordable, homes to meet a wide range of local needs. We
view development as not just an exercise in house building but as a
means of providing attractive, energy-efficient homes that will
enhance the community and contribute towards its'
sustainability.

Purbeck Housing Trust has a five year programme of maintenance
and improvements to its housing stock.
Our tenants recognise the role of good quality,
well-maintained homes. Asset Management is the effective targeting
of resources to where they can have the greatest effect in raising
standards, maximising value for money to deliver good quality
property.

Purbeck Careline is an emergency alarm
service provided by Purbeck Housing Trust.
A Lifeline unit links to your existing
telephone line and by simply pressing the small pendant a call is
generated to the Careline centre.
Homeless and Housing Advice
Purbeck District Council is responsible for the
provision of services for people threatened with homelessness. The
Trust provides this service on behalf on the Council. The Housing
Needs Team is able to provide you with advice regarding
homelessness, applying for housing, and general housing
queries.
Shared Ownership

Shared Ownership was introduced to
help people who cannot afford to buy a home outright. Through
Shared Ownership you buy a share of the property and pay rent on
the remaining share, which you do not own.
