Homeless Advice

Purbeck District Council is responsible for the provision of services for people threatened with homelessness. The Trust provides this service on behalf on the Council.

 

Between the ages of 13-25 years old

16-25 year olds

The Quay Foyer provides affordable secure housing for fifty young people between the ages of 16 and 25. All accommodation in the Foyer is fully furnished. As part of their contract, residents meet regularly with an allocated Key Worker. Residents are encouraged to engage in employment or training.

13-19 year olds

Are you aged between 13 and 19? If you are having problems at home, or are thinking of leaving home and would like to talk to someone in confidence, please contact the Housing Needs Team on 01929 558400.

Connexions is an organisation which offers free advice and information to 13 to 19 year olds on housing, education, work, careers and much more. You can contact the local Connexions office on 01202 677557.

The Besom Trust

The Besom provides a bridge between those who want to give time, money, things or skills and those who are in need.  The service it provides is free.
