Synergy's Rooftop Meeting

Synergy Housing staff met with tenants to view a 3 star housing association in Worcester.

Janette Whittley, Resident Involvement Co-ordinator, Eileen Baker, Area Housing Officer, and Diane Broomfield, Resident Involvement Officer, accompanied the six tenants to visit Rooftop Housing Group. The day was packed with information and fact-finding exercises for staff and tenants to understand good working practices and the secrets to success in gaining three-star status.

Steven Parkin said, "We now know how important it is to have relevant training for tenants and visits to 3-star Housing Associations as we need to learn from the best to improve our own services."

The day was marked a success and a great way to incorporate learning into a fun day out that everyone enjoyed. One tenant comments, "The event allowed not only me but other tenants to gain more knowledge and growth in areas of concern for us."

The residents were excited to learn about getting more involved to improve the services they receive from Synergy Housing.
