Purbeck Housing Trust is a Registered Social Landlord and
not for profit organisation dedicated to the provision of high
quality, affordable housing and related services for local
people.
Our overall aim is to build thriving neighbourhoods where people
choose to live.
The Trust currently provides over 1700 homes for rent with
approximately 40 properties let under shared ownership leases.
The Trust also runs the successful Purbeck Careline Community Alarm
Service and employs just under 50 staff who provide the day-to-day
services.
Purbeck Housing Trust is a member of the Synergy Housing
Group alongside Weymouth and
Portland Housing and East Dorset Housing
Association. Synergy Housing Group is a Registered
Social Landlord (registered with the Housing Corporation) - a 'not
for profit' provider of affordable housing and is the largest
provider of social housing in Dorset. The organization owns and
manages over 9,000 affordable homes across Dorset and Hampshire.
SHG also develops new homes with a combination of private finance
and grant from the Housing Corporation.
The day-to-day management of the association is undertaken by
the management team, which is made up of four Managers.
